Patients Visiting Chicago

Visiting patients should expect to remain in Chicago for several days following their procedure. Although private duty nursing or a hospital stay can be arranged, we recommend that a friend or loved one accompany our patients to help with their aftercare. You will be visited by our surgeons or physician assistant will meet with you in the days after your surgery to ensure that you’re recovery is progressing well before you return home. Once home, we offer a number of telemedicine alternatives to continue your care at home including internet-based, video conference “cyber-visits” during which our surgeons will be able to assess and guide your healing remotely. In general, one week in Chicago is sufficient for most procedures.
