Procedure Information

Shortly after treatment, the unwanted pigment cells (or melanin) turn darker and over the course of 10 to 14 days, naturally slough off or fade. BBL employs the technology of pulsed light that heats the outer layer of skin in the problem area. This gentle heating from the pulsed light penetrates the outer layer of the skin and stimulates the skin cells beneath the skin, promoting collagen production that naturally helps revitalize the skin’s appearance. There is little to no downtime associated with this procedure. Skin may appear red for 1-2 hours following the treatment and sunspots can appear darker for 7-10 days before fading. Most common areas treated include face, chest, neck, & back of hands.
