What does the procedure feel like?

To ensure your comfort during treatment, a local anesthetic will be administered to the treatment area. Once the skin has become numb, our provider will carefully use the Ellacor device in order to strategically construct micro-cores in a precise grid pattern. The hollow needles will be used to remove extra skin, but because the micro-cores are so small, healing will start practically immediately.

What does healing feel like?

Immediately following the procedure, the skin will feel warm and tight. This should subside after 24 hours. For the week following the procedure, the skin will feel tight but not uncomfortable. This will become less noticeable after a week once the skin heals.

How many treatments are necessary?

Since every patient is different, our providers will assess your skin and discuss your goals and concerns in order to determine how many Ellacor treatments are required. Most patients will see a significant result after 2-3 treatments.

How often can I receive treatments?

Treatments are ideally spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
