How Are MOXI Treatments Performed?
MOXI treatments fall into the category of "lunchtime procedures" because they're typically completed within 15 minutes, making them easy to fit into a busy day. Before starting, we'll wash the treatment area and apply a numbing cream. After that, we'll pass the MOXI handpiece over your skin. The MOXI's fractionated laser technology heats the cells in your skin, promoting regrowth and renewal. As your skin repairs itself over time, you'll notice a brighter, more even skin tone.
We generally recommend that patients undergo 3 – 4 initial MOXI treatments and schedule regular touch-up treatments after that to maintain optimal results. Simon was phenomenal. I decided at age 16 to gauge my ears and stretched them far beyond the point of them closing on their own. I am getting married and wanted to be able to wear regular earrings for the first time in 20 years. Simon came to rescue after I was quoted waaaaay too much from another surgeon that basically wanted to cut my ears that day without letting them heal on their own and told me he could inject them with filler after they healed (like, WHAT?) Simon was so thorough and patient during our consultation and even more so during the actual procedure. He let my ears close naturally for a while to avoid removing too much tissue so they would look normal and healthy after they healed. EVERYONE is shocked (including me) that they look so good. You would never know that I had enormous holes in my ears for 20 years. 10/10 recommend for any procedure.
