How Is Chin Liposuction Performed?
We perform submental liposuction at our Chicago, IL practice using local anesthesia. After numbing the area, we'll cut a small opening under the chin and insert a cannula (a small tube used in medical procedures). Using our advanced handheld liposuction device, we'll loosen the fat before suctioning it out. Once we're finished, we'll close the incision and bandage the area.
