Dr. Simon Moradian has extensive experience in general and plastic surgery, specializing in facial aesthetics, liposuction, tummy tuck surgery, and more. Dr. Moradian earned his medical degree with honors from the Ross University School of Medicine. After that, he completed 4 years of general surgery residency, followed by 5 years of plastic surgery residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, graduating from the hospital's plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery program as chief resident and at the top of his class.
Throughout his distinguished training, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing surgical techniques, authoring over 30 surgical manuscripts and 14 textbook chapters on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Additionally, Dr. Moradian devoted a year of focused research during his surgical residency at the world renowned Center for Bionic Medicine at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago, IL. There, he contributed to groundbreaking advancements in bio-prosthetics, pioneering technology that enables amputees to control bone-anchored prosthetics through neural pathways, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in advanced prosthetic care. His aesthetic and reconstructive expertise has earned him numerous awards and accolades, with his work showcased at prestigious national and international conferences.
Dr. Moradian is also deeply committed to global health and has actively participated in multiple mission trips to extend his expertise and compassion to underserved communities.
Dr. Moradian specializes in facial aesthetics, reconstructive surgery (including facelifts, lip lifts, and more), and body contouring procedures (including liposculpture and tummy tucks). He has contributed to dozens of publications, and book chapters on both reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries. He has been recognized for his scientific contributions to the world plastic surgery and honored through multiple awards. Dr. Moradian played a pivotal role in securing an $9 million Department of Defense grant to advance research in bio-prosthetics, helping pioneer the integration of machine-human interface prosthetics. Through this work he has helped pave the groundwork for the future development of an Ortho-Plastic Reconstruction department at Northwestern memorial Hospital, dedicated to supporting amputees in the near future. He has also won multiple awards for his cutting edge research at multiple national and international meetings on a variety of topics, including abdominoplasty, complex facial cosmetic surgery, amputation and and advanced bio-prosthetics.
Outside of his work, Dr. Moradian played water polo in college, enjoys astronomy, music, golf, traveling, staying fit, and learning new languages.
I had such a pleasant experience with Dr. Simon and the whole team! He’s very knowledgeable, kind, and meticulous. He educated me on why I should or shouldn’t do certain procedures (example - I don’t love my neck but it’s due to my tongue placement and there’s no surgical procedure that can be done. I did joke that we should just remove my tongue). He was realistic and answered all my questions. I also had to text him a question and he answered while on vacation and was incredibly responsive and reassuring.Everything looks great and I’m so happy I went with Dr. Simon. Highly recommend.

I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Simon Moradian at NSPS. From my first consultation, he was so warm, informative, and thoughtful, and I immediately felt comfortable with him. After talking to him, I pretty much knew right away that he was who I wanted to choose.Something he said that really stuck with me was that he doesn’t take the same approach with every nose, he looks at the individual person and tailors everything to their face and what they want. He listened to me while also being really thoughtful about what would look natural and suit me best.My results are honestly better than I imagined. My nose still looks like me, just better, which is exactly what I wanted. Dr. Simon Moradian is amazing! I had been considering chin liposuction for several years, but I am so happy that I finally went in for a consultation. Dr. Moradian and his team made me feel completely at ease, and they very professionally and kindly answered all my questions. I left the consultation ready to book the procedure. The procedure itself was a breeze, it took maybe an hour and half and we talked and listened to music the entire time. I left with minimal bruising and clear results day 1. The results just keep getting better, thank you Dr. Moradian!
