Throughout his career, Dr. Fine has been certified as a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Surgery, and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In addition to his work at Northwestern Specialists in Plastic Surgery, he holds an academic appointment as a clinical associate professor in plastic surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Fine has received numerous awards for his work in plastic surgery and breast reconstruction, including being named one of Chicago's Top Doctors in plastic surgery by Chicago magazine and one of the Best Doctors in America in the category of breast reconstruction. He was also the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Department of Surgery where he served in multiple committee roles.

I am going through my second reconstruction after treatment for breast cancer. Dr Neil Fine is an amazingly patient, kind, and extremely skilled plastic surgeon. I am in the second phase of my reconstruction and just had tissue expanders placed 2 weeks ago. These temporary tissue expanders look better than my prior final reconstruction. Dr Fine somehow managed to place the expanders in such a way that I no longer have a chest depression (from mastectomy) above the implant. The appearance is pleasing and natural. The whole plastic surgery team and the Spa aestheticians are amazing. Lexy, Monica, Caroline, Barb, Morgan and everyone are super nice, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The Dream Team! I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr Fine and his team are.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Fine and the staff at Northwestern Specialist in Plastic Surgery. The process was easy to navigate with the assistance of Kendall the practice manager. Dr. Fine was kind, so nice and confident. The day of the surgery he reviewed exactly what he was going to do and the outcomes and was very reassuring. He was right. The outcomes were right on target. I highly recommend NSPS without hesitation.
I have nothing but great things to say about my time with Dr Schierle (and Dr.Fine) They have been nothing short of professional and personable. Making my procedures as seamless as possible, answering many, many questions from my parents and myself without hesitation or frustration and providing excellent pre op and post op care. Not to mention his amazing PA Monika Ciesynski who has played a huge role on my care team. They are an amazing duo and I am lucky to be under their care. I would highly, highly recommend them for yourself and your loved ones!Kendall and Barbara have been amazing as far as finances and scheduling goes. The front office is always friendly and ready to help.
