"I had such an amazing experience with the team at Northwestern Specialists in Plastic Surgery and want to share my gratitude.In 2024, I had an in-office procedure under local anesthesia, and it truly felt like a luxurious experience. Being able to undergo a procedure while awake, relaxed, and listening to jazz music was incredible. What made it even more special was that it took place in the same space where I receive my esthetic facials, which immediately put me at ease.Six weeks ago, I underwent a more major procedure that required general anesthesia. I was honestly very nervous, as I had never gone under anesthesia before. I had originally considered doing this procedure in 2024, but I was petrified. The team was so patient with me and my concerns. At no point did I feel rushed. They took the time to answer all of my questions and even offered to schedule additional appointments with my loved ones so they could feel informed and comfortable as well. That level of care meant so much to me.My recovery has been remarkably smooth. I experienced very minimal pain, which I attribute to the Exparel injection and my surgeon’s ability to perform the procedure without drains. I was up and walking right away with only minor discomfort, and that has been the consistent theme throughout my recovery.What stood out just as much was the support after surgery. During those first few days, whenever I had questions or concerns, the team was available at any time of day. That level of responsiveness and care made me feel truly supported.The team at Northwestern Specialists in Plastic Surgery is exceptional. I am especially grateful to Dr. Clark Schierle, Monika, Kendall, and Brittany for taking such wonderful care of me and for continually encouraging me to be my best self.If you want a surgery team that feels like family and delivers exceptional results, I couldn’t recommend them more highly. 💕"
